Park Ave Church of Christ Leadership

Park Ave Church of Christ is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

Mark Mitchell

Teaching Minister

Mark Mitchell was appointed to serve as Park Ave Church of Christ's Senior Minister [June 2018]. Prior to that, he served as [ Minister] of [ Griffithsville Church of Christ ] in [ Griffithsville, WV ].

The attributes that best describe Mark as a minister are strong preaching, leadership development and counseling. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like Park Ave Church of Christ where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Mark takes worship and teaching very seriously, spending hours preparing in study. He also cares deeply about the community on the West Side. He hopes that Park Ave. family will be able to build bridges of love and hope to those looking for an alternate direction in their life.

Mark Mitchell has been happily married for 30 years to his wife, Kelley Mitchell. They have two daughters, Megan and Caroline, and two grandchildren.
